A mojito is already a pretty perfect drink. Bright, herby, a little tart. This version skps the rum and swaps in THC tincture instead, which means all the refreshment with none of the hangover. This is a single-serving recipe that comes together in about five minutes, and it's easy to scale up for a group.
How to Make DIY THC Tincture

THC Tincture is the easiest way to infuse a drink without changing the flavor too much. You can pick some up at most dispensaries, but if you'd rather make your own at home, here's how.
What you need:
- 3.5-7g decarboxylated cannabis flower (adjust for desired potency)
- High-proof ethyl acohol (Everclear 190 proof works well)
- A glass jar with a lid
- Cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer
Steps:
- Decarb your flower. Spread ground weed on a baking sheet and bake at 245°F (118°C) for 30-40 minutes. This activates the THC. You can also save up your cashed bowls of vaped weed until you have enough to infuse with!
- Combine and store. Add the decarbed flower to a glass jar and cover completely with alcohol. Seal and store in a cool, dark place for 2-3 weeks.
- Strain and bottle. Once the liquid has turned a deep green, pour it through cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer into a clean jar. Squeeze out as much liquid as possible, discard the plant material, and store your tincture in a dark place.
The longer it sits, the more potent the extraction. Two to three weeks is the sweet spot for most people.
If you'd rather skip the process, dispensary tinctures work just as well (and might taste a little better). Look for one made from a strain you already enjoy, and don't hesitate to ask the budtender for a recommendation.
Dosing Your Infused Mojito
This recipe makes a single glass, which makes dosing pretty straightforward. Add your tincture after the club soda and stir gently to distribute it evenly throughout the drink.

THC-Infused Mojito Mocktail Recipe

Serves: 1
Ingredients:
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 lime, cut into 4 wedges
- 1-2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 cup club soda
- THC tincture, dosed to preference
Directions:
- Add 1 lime wedge and a few mint leaves to a glass. Muddle thoroughly to release the lime juice and open up the mint.
- Add 2 more lime wedges and the sugar. Muddle again until the sugar is mostly dissolved and everything is well combined.
- Fill the glass with ice and pour in the club soda.
- Add your THC tincture and give it a gentle stir.
- Garnish with a few mint leaves and the remaining lime wedge. Serve immediately.
Tip: Use the back of a wooden spoon if you don't have a muddler. Press down and twist rather than mashing straight down to avoid shredding the mint.
