Apparently 4/20 just wasn’t enough! Mary Jane enthusiasts have managed to squeeze another holiday out of the year, and we’re all about it. July 10, or 710, is now OIL Day (it’s “OIL” upside down)! There are tons of ways to consume cannabis oil, making 710 the day to experiment with fun new methods.

TAKE A DAB
“Dabbing” is the term given to vaporizing and inhaling concentrated cannabis (wax, or “shatter”) through a dab rig. The wax is usually heated on a nail attachment with a handheld blowtorch and immediately inhaled through the rig.
To those who aren’t familiar with this method, that may sound a bit intense. Believe it or not, dabbing is the OG method of consuming cannabis concentrates. For at least a decade, medical marijuana patients have relied on the potency of wax because of its immediate and long-lasting effects. If you're looking for a classic 710 experience, refill the butane in your torch and dust off your rig.
Dab Rig
If this strikes your fancy, you’ll need some form of a dab rig to get started. Take a rip from the Toxic Barrel Quartz Mini Rig. This baby heats up quick to produce delicious, flavorful dabs. It fits so nicely in your hand, you might even want to stroll around with it.

Ooze Pens
Vaping oil cartridges tends to be a more mainstream way of consuming cannabis oil, since all you have to do is screw your pre-filled cartridge onto a vape battery. Similar to wax concentrates, oil (purchased from state-tested dispensaries) still contains a high amount of THC, so it will produce similar effects to dabbing. However, those effects may not be as powerful.
Because oil is formulated differently to provide a much thinner, easily vaporized substance, it’s often not as concentrated as wax. This makes it very easy to vaporize since it heats quickly, so if trying out a proper dab feels like a lot of work, oil is the way to go.
