The Ooze Onyx Atomizer Explained

The Ooze Onyx Atomizer Explained

Samantha Catrambone |

We just dropped a dope new collection of extract vaporizers, all powered by the Ooze Onyx Atomizer, which was created to offer you the best vape session possible. Although this is a complicated new technology that our product engineers have spent years perfecting, we want to explain it to all our fellow concentrate enthusiasts so you can better understand how incredible your new wax vape is.

So, without further ado, let's talk about what the Ooze Onyx Atomizer is, how it works, how to clean it, and what to do when it comes time to replace it!

What is the Ooze Onyx Atomizer?

A white girl's hand is full of Ooze Onyx Atomizers with the blue Azul core dishes showing.

The Ooze Onyx Atomizer is the clean ceramic power source used in the three extract vaporizers in the new C-Core Collection. It features a deep bucket to load your dabs in and a flat Azul (blue) ceramic heating core.

What makes it different from other atomizers is that it's made with our patented smart ceramic which contains millions of pathways that help your dabs spread out evenly during heating. This makes it easy to load your atomizer up with wax and take powerful hits without having any leftover residue gunking up your vaporizer.

The Ooze Onyx Atomizer also has a low coil resistance of .08 ohms, which makes C-Core one of the first sub-ohm vape collections for cannabis consumption. Plus, since the atomizer's heat source is solely the Azul dish, there is no exposure to metal components creating a 100% heavy metal-free vaping experience. In short, the Ooze Onyx Atomizer is a powerful piece of cannabis technology that provides you with the most efficient way to dab!

How Does the Ooze Onyx Atomizer Work?

When you buy a new extract vape, it's essential to know precisely how it works to get the best vaping experience possible. The Ooze Onyx Atomizer has a special airflow pathway to whip the air inside into a vortex dispensing a powerful hit through the mouthpiece.

There are holes within the part of the atomizer that screws into your device from which the air is pulled, leading it through two slits on the sides of the Azul dish. Once the air has traveled into the dish, it surrounds the bucket and takes the evenly heated concentrates up and out, producing big potent clouds with that delicious terpene flavor you love.

How Do I Clean The Ooze Onyx Atomizer?

While the Onyx Atomizer provides the cleanest and most efficient burning process possible, some clean-up will likely be required after repeated use. It's vital you know how to clean your atomizer the correct way to ensure it goes back to looking like new and no damage has been done along the way.

Some may think simply getting the coil hot and burning off any remaining residue will do the job, but heating when it's dry will cause unwanted damage to your atomizer. Instead, we recommend adding 1-2 drops of alcohol to the dish and heating it up. It's essential you keep a close watch on your atomizer during this process to ensure no issues occur from overheating.

You will know your dish is clean when the residue has been removed, leaving you with the original blue color; if, when completely dry, your dish is still not blue, repeat the process again. Once your atomizer returns to looking like new, you are ready to fire it up again!

When Should I Replace the Ooze Onyx Atomizer?

Even though the Ooze Onyx Atomizer is our most state-of-the-art atomizer yet, there will still come a time when you need to replace the original atomizer with a new one. When deciding when the right time to replace your atomizer is, there are a few variables to consider, and the time frame may differ.

We recommend switching out your atomizer every 4 to 12 weeks based on what temperature you set your vaporizer to and the number of times you are using it per week. Regardless of the time frame, you will notice a difference in how your concentrate tastes and hits, telling you it is time for a replacement. Fortunately for you, we have you covered with an assortment of replacement packs for whatever Ooze Onyx Atomizer-powered accessory you have.
